Spotify Hack Week
During: Spring 2024
Company: Spotify
My role: Inhouse product designer
My deliverables: Product design
Each year, Spotify team members, playfully called "band members," come together for Spotify Hack Week. For the 2024 Hack Week, my team and I at CC studio, came up with a concept that another team brought to life, ultimately winning the top prize.
Insight: In today’s digital world, people often encounter content that reinforces their existing views, creating filter bubbles. Audience data reveals a desire to break free from these bubbles, encouraging people to experience varied perspectives, form real connections, and feel part of a broader cultural landscape.
Challenge: Enable meaningful connections and inspire users to explore and engage within a wider cultural framework.
Idea: Imagine spinning a globe (because it’s fun!) and landing on a location to discover the most popular tracks there and what’s currently trending. With another spin, you’re transported to the peaks of Venezuela, discovering fresh new sounds.
Why we love it: This aligns perfectly with our mission of helping people discover unique and emerging music that might otherwise go unnoticed, all in a surprising and enjoyable way.

Wood Wood - Art Direction
During: AW 2019
Agency: Panagora
Client: Wood Wood
My role: Art Director, UX/UI designer
My deliverables: Art Direction and visual site mockups
Insight : Wood Wood is a Copenhagen based contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand founded in 2002.
The company’s online store has been plagued by bot activity due to the unique assortment of limited edition products with high aftermarket value. This resulted in overall poor site performance and downtime far exceeding the industry baseline.
The user experience was also heavily weighted towards a desktop shopping experience, and compromises done on the mobile version of the site negatively affected users who primarily visited the site on desktop. The result of this was an unusually low lower spread between desktop and mobile usage.
Idea: We launched a responsive online store with a user-friendly shopping experience on Panagora platform EDGE to utilise the power and scalability of AWS, combined with Cloudflare’s CDN services and bot management solution, to provide a lightning fast shopping experience on a global scale and our promise of 100 % uptime (SLA).
Impact: Wood Wood’s new online store is armoured with an (almost) endlessly scalable backend to outlive even the steepest traffic peaks, and a state of the art bot management solution. The new and improved responsive design has pawed the way for an equally delightful and effortless shopping experience on desktop as well as mobile devices.
By comparing data two months post go live with the same period the previous year, the following KPIs speak volumes about the project success:
+ 162 % increased ecommerce conversion rate
+ 230 % increased average session duration
+ 131 % more page views per session
- 52 % bounce rate on both returning and new visitors
+ 76 % increase in mobile usage
+ 570 % faster average response time

5 star review and quote from client: "I would recommend Panagora anytime. Their technical expertise, team abilities and unique, cutting edge approach to e-commerce have been parallel to none, according to our experience: they were able to deliver exactly what they promised. Panagora proved they were able to take our comprehensive brief and deliver according not only to our specifications and needs, but most importantly according to best industry e-commerce practices.
Panagora listened to the issues and the specifications we had for our upcoming site, accurately identified the limitations we have been facing, and designed a scope to address all those individually and holistically. Their process has been exceptional, and effective. I am particularly impressed by Panagora's ability to "translate" our brand's visual identity into a website experience that looked nothing like what we previously had, yet entirely within our brand's guidelines and with full respect to our desires. With Panagora you do not just get a technically great site, but also one that is aesthetically appealing to its visitors, without any compromises or departures from your brand aesthetic.
As our brand's founder and company's co-founder, I believe Panagora has been able to deliver a site worthy of our brand's aspirations, and most importantly, a site that is a pleasure for prospecting or existing customers to visit, interact with and shop from."

Agency: Panagora
Client: YME Universe
My role: Art Director & UX designer
My deliverables: Sitemap, digital styleguide and visual site mockups
YME - one of Norway’s most unique high-end lifestyle store. Two years ago the store had their grand opening of its physical appearance in the center part of Oslo. A three-floor building with an interior designed by the famous architectural agency Snøhetta. As the physical store, YME’s main goal was to deliver a personal and unique shopping experience where the customer would enter a universe where more than one senses would be stimulated. It was also important to remain their high engagement from and to the customer.
Our mission was to translate the experience of their three-floor concept (sneakers/female/male-lifestyle) from the physical space into a digital one. Apart from our design mission, YME had many issues regarding performance and huge traffic amounts from their regular sneakers drops.
The idea was to create a responsive e-commerce experience that could handle high traffic peaks during hype releases and together with this synchronize inspirational content with the customer journey.

Client: Eir Scandinavia
My role: Art Director & Brand strategist
My deliverables: Brand Platform, Visual Identity (image concept/colors/materials/typography)
